George Feagin

Residence 1755 Cumberland County, NC George Feagin, son of Edward Feagin, was born abt. 1720 in Fauquier County, Virginia. George Feagin married about 1745, Elizabeth Richardson, daughter of Stephen Richardson. George Feagin received a grant dated September 30, 1749 for 200 acres on Deep River in Blade County , North Carolina. This area would become Cumberland County in 1754 and Moore County in 1784 . George Feagin is on the 1755 tax list for Cumberland County, North Carolina. This 200 acre grant was sold to Abel Lee on January 10, 1757, the deed being signed by "George Fagin and Elizabeth Fagin". George Feagin later witnessed deeds in Cumberland County, North Carolina in 1767 and 1770. In 1785, George Feagin received two land grants in South Carolina. In 1795, George Feagin received four land grants for 1,000 acres each in Washington County, Georgia. George Feagin is believed to have died shortly after this date.

George married Elizabeth Richardson-, daughter of Stephen Richardson-and Unknown, about 1742 in VA.

ii. Edward "Neddy" Feagin-was born about 1750 in VA and died about 1810 in Marlboro County, SC.
iii. John M. Feagin Sr.-was born about 1750 in Fauquier County, VA and died in 1826 in Fauquier County, VA.
iv. Richardson Feagin Sr.-was born in 1758 in Tyrelle County, NC and died on 27 Nov 1818 in Fayette District, Moore County, NC.
v. Aaron Feagin-was born about 1759 in NC (3)and died about 1845 in Conecuh County, AL.
